Hi Kasondra,

I live in San Jose, CA and shop at Whole Foods in Campbell, CA. At first I passed up your muffins thinking OMG they will taste like “tree bark” because they looked so fortified. I have tried other muffins touting they had this or that and tons of fiber and usually things with alot of fiber are ...as I said.... just like eating dry tree bark.

I have developed an allergy to wheat and have Type II early stage diabetes. They concenses seems to be the wheat is driving the diabetes because of how the gluten turns to instant sugar and was advised to stop wheat, corn and soy.

Well, I did the above and the aches and pains of older age (58) have lessened tremendously but I really missed having something breadlike especially at breakfast. I was so tired of eggs, eggs, eggs. Yesterday, I noticed the display again of your muffins and saying “no wheat” and figured okay.... “one more time on the sawdust routine”.... OMG... I have never been so surprised in my life.
They are DELICIOUS !!!!!! So moist and leave almost a creamy sensation in your mouth. The blueberry was so great, I went back this morning and grabbed the orange cranberry and it was even better. I just shared one with a co-worker who has MS and I know the Omegas are so good for that as well as a multitude of other things that go “bump in the nite”. She too was so impressed and is stopping to get some on the way home.

I want to thank you for making your wonderful product and I hope you stay in business forever. I wish you would consider making a regular sliced loaf of bread so I could enjoy a “sandwich” again. If you decide to do that, I would love to be your “test taster”... lol. OR If you have a recipe for bread without wheat that you would share with me, I have a bread machine and can make it at home.

Thanks again for a great muffin..... viva la breakfast.... I will have my whole office HOOKED very soon.

Your new “groupy”

Hi,

I have recently discovered the muffins and LOVE them. The blueberry are my particular favorite. As a person that is wheat/gluten intolerant, it is so nice to have a muffin that is not dry and metallic tasting. Thank you, Thank you for providing such a delicious and nutritious morning taste treat for me. I look forward to it.

I buy them at Whole Foods and the shelf clears off quickly so I guess I am not the only fan in Foster City, CA.

Keep up the delicious, good, healthy work.

Sincerely,
Terry
Flax 4 Life,

I am addicted to the Chunky Chocolate Flax4Life muffins!  I occasionally try a natural, wheat-free dessert and have come to expect the dry, tasteless outcome, but what a taste bud surprise.  These muffins are moist, full of flavor, satisfying and scrumptious.  I had been purchasing quite a variety from PCC in Issaquah but due to the snow weather this past week the delivery was postponed until Saturday (the bakery clerk said others were asking also).  To my dismay, however, when I arrived on Sunday all my favorites were already gone.  I have just placed my first online order so now I won't need to wait for PCC's next two-week delivery date.  Thanks for producing a health conscious treat.

I anxiously await your delicious muffins and anticipate savoring every tasty morse!

Salivating,

Dini
Hi,

I just bought some of your Wild Blueberry muffins at the store. This is a wonderful muffin. I love how great it tastes & that it's really healthy!  I really didn't think it would taste that good. Anyway, I just tried to order some on line, but your order now doesn't seem to be working. So. I tried dialing your 800 number and I just got a message asking for an access code.

I can pick some more up at the store, so it's no big deal. Just thought you might want to know .

Again, terrific muffin.

Flax 4 Life,

OH MY GOD!!!  This muffin is an absolute miracle.  I can't believe how delicious this is.  After finding out about my gluten intolerance I felt that I would never really find something alternative and healthy to satiate the cravings for cake like muffins made from wheat.  You have totally out did yourselves in this amazing product.  I having been eating at least 2 per day and find myself feeling absolutely terrific!  It has such a profound and positive affect on my body.   An amazing healthy and delicious masterpiece!

Infinite thanks,

Jason

Hi Kasondra,

I had the same reaction of surprise that others had.  I had low expectations of flavor but found they taste great!  My favorite is the Chunky Chocolate Chip.  I eat one every morning for breakfast and I've felt better ever since.

Emerging research studies are showing Omega 3 has a correlation to fighting many forms of depression often in cases when prescription medications haven't worked.  (Luckily, Omega 3 can be taken with all those medications so a person suffering from depression doesn't have to choose between supplemental Omega 3 and prescription medication).  When I'm eating the Flax 4 Life muffins (full of Omega 3), my moods are more stable, my mental clarity is improved, and my other food cravings go away.  I also don't get that tired feeling I normally would get after eating other baked goods.  I have sustained energy all day long when I start my day with a Flax 4 Life muffin.

I'm assuming the sustained energy has a 4-fold reason:

1)  your muffins are higher in protein
2)  they are lower in net carbs than other muffins because of all the fiber
3)  you aren't using refined sugars, but instead organic evaporated cane juice crystals.  They don't enter my blood stream and make me "crash".
4)  The cinnamon in the Chunky Chocolate Chip is helping control my blood sugar properly--not to mention it's other health benefits (antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory)

Thanks!  Your company has had a great impact on the health of your customers!

I've recently turned to a health conscious lifestyle including my diet which excludes all high fructose corn syrup and trans fats. I was looking for an alternative option to my typical blueberry bagels (which contained HFCS) and saw your blueberry muffins above them at my QFC grocery store. I have to say I LOVE your muffins.? So healthy, and nutritious yet so very tasty.? I have one every day. I was hoping perhaps you would try making a banana bread (no nuts) flax muffin because I think that could be a real tasty hit. Let me know.?

Till then keep making your tasty muffins and I will keep buying them.

I saw them at Fred Meyer and bought them on a whim.  Both my husband and I ADORE these muffins.  They are the BEST!!   We've been telling everyone we know how great they are.

Thanks for making good muffins!

Tonight I went to the Kingston Thriftway and noted a rack containing "flax muffins - no wheat". I have been trying to eat more dietary fiber without consuming wheat, which is not easy when one desires a baked good. I purchased a package of the blueberry muffins and decided to try one with my salad at dinner. These muffins are great! I was so intrigued that I checked out your website. I read with great amusement and concurrence Terri's comments about 'no wheat' products which tend to taste like tree bark, but not these muffins. I hope your product does will commercially such that you can venture into other products such as bread or rolls.

Sincerely,

Sharon
Kasondra,

I have never been a big muffin eater.  Until now!

I try to eat healthy and usually bypass the bakery department to limit my intake of white flour and milled wheat products.  One day I spotted your Flax Muffins at Hagen's in Stanwood and since I was looking for a little variety I decided to try them.  They were better than any home made or commercial bakery product I had ever tried.  Now I am a dedicated Flax Muffin consumer.

I have only one question.  How do you keep form eating the entire box in one day?

Thanks for bringing this deliciously healthy product to my table.

Dear Kasondra,

I wanted to thank you for the great muffins.  I like the carrot ones the best.  Every day I eat a muffin, and it makes me so much more productive.  They taste great and they provide good bulk.  I get a lot more reading done if you catch my drift.  I introduced my brother-in-law to them and he and his plumbing are working a lot better now!

I was wondering you could make available some flax4life t-shirts?  I think it would be a great idea.  I would proudly wear it to the gym that I go to.
Hi,

Just wanted to let you know I've been eating your flax muffins for about 6 months now and I love them. I have celiac disease and most no-wheat muffins/breads taste like crap. Your muffins are delicious.

Now if only you could make a decent bread out of flax. That would be wonderful!

regards,

Debbie Cohen
Wow, I've just recently found your muffins at the grocery store. I am diabetic and have had no problem controlling my blood sugar because of all the fiber in your muffins. I cannot eat regular muffins because they send my blood sugar soaring.

Thank you, thank you for these delicious
muffins. Love the healthy ingredients!

Donna
I have to add my two cents...... These are absolutely the best! My favorite are the Faithful Carrot. I have to agree with Roy..........but I have one more question: serving size one half muffin? You've got to be kidding! It's hard not to eat two!!

Jean
Hi Kasondra,

I don't usually send mail to people I don't know but I wanted to tell you how much I love your muffins.  Because of the number of points (I'm on Weight Watchers) I choose the carrot raisin (they have the lowest number of points, 4).  I can't tell you how much they have helped my irregularity and how wonderful they taste along with how long they "stay" with me and keep me satisfied.  They are truly a miracle and I'm so glad you have made such a wonderful product.  I have one every morning for breakfast!!  Anymore breads/muffins on your horizon?  I buy mine at the Lynnwood Fred Meyer but I think I will start ordering directly from you - then I won't have to be disappointed when my carrot-raisin muffins have been all sold out!!!

Gratefully yours,
Michele
Hi Kasondra,

I just want to let you know that I've been a loyal customer of these great muffins - my fiance and myself lived in Seattle for 3 years and was introduced about 6 months ago while I was shopping at Metropolitan Market in Queen Anne.  We love it so much we miss it not having them down here in LA.  We have visited several Whole Foods but unfortunately the Whole Foods in Pasadena or Glendale in Los Angeles does't carry them.... I'm just glad you have a website to place an order!

Anyways, I just want to let you know that we will certainly keep ordering them cause we love it so much, we're also sharing them to our families and friends.  I've put in my 2nd order today and you'll definitely be getting more from me.

Thank you,
Edel Garcia
Dear Kasandra,

I bought the wild blueberry muffins last week at Whole Foods and I cannot believe how delicious they were! I am gluten intolerant and have been gluten free for almost 2 years. Until I tasted your muffins, there was no bread/cake/muffin that was worth eating. And when I tasted yours, I thought I must have read the label wrong; the texture and taste are fabulous.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Jan, a really satisfied customer
Hi Kasondra:

So as not to repeat anything from previous testimonials, I will simply say that I agree with all the positive comments so far on your muffins – taste, nutrition, texture! The only thing I would like to add is that even though I was “regular” before eating Flax 4 Life muffins, my digestive system is working even better, and I FEEL better for it.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Dear Kasondra

I just tasted your Faithful Carrot Muffins for the first time today! Yum. I have seen them in the store and today decided to try them. It was a tough choice between the carrot and blueberry, but I chose the carrot. Tomorrow I will go and buy the blueberry ones. I think the carrot muffin was absolutely delicious!! I am 54 years old, in relatively good health, and try to eat well. Sometimes I don't, and it's the holidays, so I know I'll be consuming some cookies and chocolate and so forth. I did fine at Thanksgiving, I prepared most of the food and it was pretty healthy.

I have been through cancer and some other medical problems, so whatever I can do to help myself stay strong and viable, is what I want to do. I think eating half or one of the carrot muffins is a good choice. If I can find all of them, I'll freeze them, and eat one per day or at least several per week. A good "take with me" snack, so I don't grab something bad to eat.

You must have a story that involves how you came to make the healthy muffins with all the good stuff in them. Do tell! And in the meantime, I will buy your muffins and enjoy them, knowing I am doing something good for myself and eating something that tastes good, too.

Linda F.

P.S. I even saw these muffins at Payless on south Whidbey Island! They carry the best stuff! Including your muffins :-)
Hi there,

I live in Vancouver, British Columbia and I've just discovered your muffins at my local Save-on-Foods. I tried them because of the high level of omega 3's and I was surprised at how delicious they are. My fiance decided he loves them too. Thanks so much for such a wonderful product!

Michelle
Dear Kasondra,

I APPLAUD for the new variety flavor, hawaiian pineapple coconut!  THANK YOU! I have always been a fan and avid consumer of your muffins, my favorite has been blueberry or choc chip or orange (dont care for carrots), and so when i go to the store, i would check for any new flavor from you, and once at whole foods in Seattle I even chatted with your food sample technician, and conveyed my suggestions to him of new flavors.  And - finally - the pineapple coconut! Couldn't have been a better combination! So tropical and exotic!

I am not a huge fan of coconut by itself, but the pineapple-coconut combo is definitely IT!

One request though: Could I ask you to put a tad more pineapple into your muffins? I can't speak for other consumers, but for myself I don't mind paying a bit more for your quality muffins if you could put a bit more pineapple(or, maybe the one muffin I am eating now, as I am writing this, happened not to have as much pineapple, in which case, then my request is to distribute the pineapples more evenly).

THANK YOU KASONDRA.
keep up the fantastic work you're doing!!!
